Intervention & Transport
Intervention and crisis management are key to helping clients with primary mental health and/or substance-use disorder challenges into appropriate levels of care. After consulting to determine the ideal approach, one of our interventionists will come on-site for 1-3 days. We consult with the appropriate clinical team as well as the family to determine detox/treatment placement. We are able to safely transport clients to higher-levels of care while using that time, where appropriate, to secure buy-in and momentum for their stay in treatment. Our intervention styles are flexible, and we are trained in various method for evidence-based best practice family interventions. We avoid the unnecessary shock and awe approach seen on TV.
In-Home Detox
Concierge nurse-assisted and MD-supervised detox at home. This approach is typically called for when someone’s current condition/mindset/public status calls for in-place stabilization and comfort. In fact, sometimes intervention might yield a lack of buy-in from someone in the throes of acute addiction. Clients may comfortably sign on to the idea of stabilizing as a first step. This can play a crucial role in subsequent efforts and that time can provide valuable opportunities for rapport-building with the providers and interim coaching to establish recovery momentum.
Treatment & Continued Care Consulting
There are thousands of options for treatment at all levels of care across the world. Not all programs are created equal. Otherwise exemplary programs might not be a fit for a specific client based on gender identity, medical or psychiatric complexity, sexual orientation, etc. Further, lack of continuity in the clinical team as clients transition to lower levels of care and into the after-care phase of their recovery can cause vital oversights to be lost. Discharge to home or new locations requires assembly of a supportive ecosystem touching on all care needs. Not least of all, client/care team rapport is vital to success stories. Centralized management of all moving parts, including assignment of recovery coaching resources, can be make or break.
Coaching & Companionship
Recovery coaching is often the missing piece of the care puzzle with a client. Difficult transitions like leaving or waiting to be admitted to treatment are the times clients lose their momentum and slip between the cracks. We coordinate care with psychiatrists, therapists, case managers and family members to ensure key messages and accountability are advocated to the client twenty-four hours a day.
In real time, life skills and coping mechanisms are brought to the client while improving professional and personal relationships and honoring each client’s unique needs.
With that in mind, we can staff clients with certified coaches, registered nurses and physical trainers. If clients prefer to work with a coach within the LGBTQIA+ space we can make that happen too.
Fitness/Wellness Coaching
Chronic pain, overcoming surgery, sedentary lifestyle or lack of direction are a few of the many reasons people do not feel well physically. Acknowledging the direct link between physical and mental health, our coaches are able to address both areas when needed. Our coaches’ diverse range of specialties include yoga, physical training as well as physical therapy. With proper oversight, adding movement back into a client’s life will improve their overall mind, body and spiritual health.
We provide exercise prescriptions with ongoing one-to-one sessions (virtually or in-person), as well as wearable device integrations to benchmark, monitor and adapt.
Advanced Monitoring
Whether as a standalone service or in conjunction with a full care management plan and staff, we work with expert, FDA-approved technologies designed to provide remote, self-administered and DNA-matched drug and alcohol testing. This not only enables us to be able to track and verify relapse timeframes and self-reporting by clients (whose version of events might vary), but also to track metabolism of prescribed meds to inform and assist our psychiatrist counterparts.
We have a relationship with SoberLink which provides state-of-the-art technology which detects alcohol and substances remotely, all while preventing tampering by the client.
